I want you to know I don't have the answers to the hard questions

and if I'm being honest, I don't even have the answers to the simple ones

this world is spun together like a dark tapestry and if only i knew how to navigate from the beginning

you could've been anyone in any lifetime and still somehow, you found your way into this one

I watch you shiver in a dress beneath the stars and I want to promise you the world and not just my hoodie

so much of this world is found to be empty and still I could feel warm in every season if i wake to find you there with me

im done with the pursuit of pain

but i still blurt it out because i want you to know

I've abandoned fear when i feel your hands brush mine.

you speak my name into existence with only a whisper

and i collapse into you like the world has abandoned me

brown eyes flying through me and i welcome the desecration

hair wind blown and i want to kiss your face like it's the last time

no, like it's the first time
